High serum pentosidine linked to sarcopenia in T2DM

In middle-aged and elderly men with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), elevated serum concentrations of pentosidine, an advanced glycation end-product, aggravate the risk of sarcopoenia, a new study has found.
Indications/Uses : Osteoporosis in postmenopausal women at high risk for fracture, defined as a history of osteoporotic fracture, or multiple risk factors for fracture; or patients who have failed or are intolerant to other available osteoporosis therapy.
Indications/Uses : Controlled ovarian stimulation for the development of multiple follicles in women undergoing assisted reproductive technologies eg, in vitro fertilisation or intracytoplasmic sperm inj cycle.
