Amorolfine is used to treat fungal and yeast infections of the fingernails and toenails.
Apply Amorolfine exactly as directed by your doctor or according to the instructions on the label. Do not apply more or less than instructed by your doctor.
To apply this medicine:
1. Wash and dry the affected area thoroughly.
2. Use the nail file provided and file down the infected areas of the nail. Clean the nail surface with the swab provided after filing. Dip the applicator provided into the bottle of Amorolfine and apply the solution onto the infected nail. Do not wipe the applicator on the edge of the bottle as it is designed to deliver a measured dose of medicine. Clean the applicator with the swab after using. Leave the nail to dry for 3 minutes.
3. For subsequent applications, always file down the affected nails and clean the nail surface before application.
DO NOT reuse the nail file on healthy nails as it may spread the infection.
Do not use this medicine for anything else other than the purpose instructed by your doctor.
Amorolfine must be used regularly for it to be effective. Continue using this medicine even when you feel better. Do not stop using it unless instructed by the doctor.
Complete the entire course of medicine. If you don't, the infection will not be properly controlled. Treatment should be continued until the nail is regenerated and finally cured.
Apply the missed dose as soon as you remember.
DO NOT double a dose under any circumstances.
Do not use this medicine to children unless instructed to do so by the doctor.
Do not allow Amorolfine to be in contact with your eyes, ears, nose or mouth.
