Indications/Uses
Ca & vit D deficiency. Osteoporosis.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Suck 1 tab bd.
Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach.
Contraindications
Hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria, Ca lithiasis & phenylketonuria. Congenital galactosemia, glucose malabsorption syndrome, lactase deficiency.
Special Precautions
Long-term use. Sarcoidosis, renal insufficiency.
Adverse Reactions
Constipation, diarrhoea, epigastric pain, abdominal distension, nausea.
Drug Interactions
Cardiac glycosides, tetracyclines, vit D, estramustine, bisphosphonates, thiazide diuretics, Fe salts.
