Herpesan gel contains Carbenoxolone Sodium B.P. 2% w/w.
Herpesan is indicated for the symptomatic relief and treatment of Lip Sores and Mouth Ulcers. It gives immediate relief to the pain and assists the natural healing process.
Herpesan should be applied thickly four times a day, preferably after meals and at bedtime. The gel should be applied at the first symptoms (tingling or burning sensation) of lip sores or mouth ulcers. The gel should be allowed to remain on the affected area for as long as possible.
This product is for topical application. However, ingestion of small quantities will have no adverse effects to the patient. The symptoms should diminish within two weeks, if not, consult the physician.
Expectant mothers and children under 3 years should first consult their physician before using any medication.
Store below 25°C.
Always replace cap tightly after use.
