Adult: As dental preparation containing deproteinised calf's blood extract 5% and polidocanol 1%: Apply to lesions 3-5 times daily after drying the area with gauze or cotton. Do not rub in the paste.

Action
Description: Lauromacrogol 400 or polidocanol is a mixture of monolauril ethers of macrogols. It has been used as a sclerosant in the treatment of oesophageal and gastric varices and varicose veins. In topical preparations, it is used as a local anaesthetic and has antipruritic properties.
