Adverse Reactions
Abdominal pain, belching, heartburn, flushing, headache, nausea and vomiting, dizziness, lightheadedness, bradycardia, peripheral oedema, chest pain.
Drug Interactions
Potentially Fatal: Due to its CYP3A4 and CYP2D6 inhibiting effects, serious interactions have been reported with: β-blockers, diltiazem, verapamil, digitalis glycosides, atorvastatin, cerivastatin, lovastatin, simvastatin, astemizole, cisapride, terfenadine, ciclosporin, desipramine, imipramine, tacrolimus, flecainide, propafenone.
