Concise Prescribing Info
Symptomatic relief of allergic rhinitis eg, sneezing, nasal discharge & itching, as well as ocular itching & burning; chronic urticaria & other allergic dermatological disorders.
Dosage/Direction for Use
May be taken with or without food.
Special Precautions
Patients w/ severe liver impairment. Pregnancy & lactation. Paed patients <6 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Altered lacrimation & salivation, flushing, hypoesthesia, impotence, increased sweating, thirst; angioneurotic oedema, asthenia, back pain, blurred vision, chest pain, earache, eye pain, fever, leg cramps, malaise, rigors, tinnitus, viral infection, wt gain; HTN, hypotension, palpitations, supraventricular tachyarrhythmias, syncope, tachycardia; blepharospasm, dizziness, dysphonia, hypertonia, migraine, paresthesia, tremor, vertigo; altered taste, anorexia, constipation, diarrhoea, dyspepsia, flatulence, gastritis, hiccup, increased appetite, nausea, stomatitis, toothache, vomiting; arthralgia, myalgia; agitation, amnesia, anxiety, confusion, decreased libido, depression, impaired conc, insomnia, irritability, paroniria; breast pain, dysmenorrhoea, menorrhagia, vaginitis; bronchitis, bronchospasm, coughing, dyspnea, epistaxis, haemoptysis, laryngitis, nasal dryness, pharyngitis, sinusitis, sneezing; dermatitis, dry hair, dry skin, photosensitivity reaction, pruritus, purpura, rash, urticaria; altered micturition, urinary discoloration, urinary incontinence, urinary retention.
Drug Interactions
Use w/ caution when co-administered w/ other drugs known to inhibit hepatic metabolism.
