Sedilix-DM should not be taken for persistent or chronic cough (eg with smoking, emphysema, asthma) or when coughing is accompanied by excessive secretions unless directed by a physician.
It should be avoided in patients with liver disease or asthmatic patients and is contraindicated in patients taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors and within 2 weeks from stopping treatment, known hypersensitivity to pseudoephedrine and during acute attacks of asthma.
