Bulking agent: Sorbitol; SniZtop powder (microcrystalline cellulose, quail eggs); Anti-caking agent: magnesium stearate; Zinc bisglycinate.
SniZtop is a patented natural dietary supplement with proprietary formula containing zinc and specific proteins derived from certified Japanese quail eggs. Interest in quail eggs dates back to more than 2 centuries, especially in Japan where they are consumed for their therapeutic benefits by patients suffering from allergies and inflammatory diseases or in China, as a remedy against asthma. SniZtop is the 1st natural histamine blocker offering all the quail eggs benefits in 1 tablet.
Action
Chewing SniZtop tablets release zinc and active proteins that prevent the allergen from getting into contact with the immune cells. Thus, SniZtop blocks the trigger of inflammatory mediators such as histamine. SniZtop is fast-acting, having an effect within only 15 minutes after intake.
Efficacy of SniZtop on allergy symptoms relief has been clinically proven in a randomized, double-blind and placebo-controlled study. (See Figure 1.)

Consumption of SniZtop resulted in significant improvements for the following rhinitis symptoms: Nasal obstruction, Rhinorrhea, Watery eyes, Itchy eyes, Itchy nose.
SniZtop intake significantly improved subjects' perceived feeling of well-being versus the placebo group.
Epidemiological Data: Atopic dermatitis is a chronic, recurrent and inflammatory disease of the skin accompanied by severe itch and which is often familial.
Symptoms: eczematous lesions on cheeks, back of the neck, dorsale surface of limbs, flexor surface of joints.
There is a strong correlation between the AD and allergic disease of the respiratory tract - asthma, allergic rhinitis and conjunctivitis.
AD affects 15-30% of children and 2-10% of adults.
During the last 3 decades, industrialised nations faced a twofold and even threefold increase in the prevalence of AD.
Innovative Mode of Action: In case of unhealthy skin, an excessive expression of a receptor named PAR-2 has been observed: PAR-2 is a Protease-Activated Receptor, a receptor activated by serine proteases; PAR-2 is mainly located on keratinocytes of the granular layer in the epidermis; PAR-2 is activated through endogenous and exogenous routes.
PAR-2 plays a role in maintaining the permeability of the epidermal barrier.
Excessive activation of this receptor results in the development of inflammatory symptoms inducing itching sensation and pain.
SNIZTOP contains 2 active agents - ovomucoids and ovoinhibitors, isolated from eggs of a specific quail species. These glycoproteins inhibit the activity of the receptor PAR-2.
Efficacy of SNIZTOP in Patients with Atopic Dermatitis: Objective: to demonstrate the efficacy of SniZtop on the alleviation of eczematous lesions, itching sensation and on improvement within the quality of life in patients with atopic dermatitis.
Study subjects: 281 people suffering from atopic dermatitis; 175 women and 109 men divided in 4 groups: See Table 2.

Dose: from 1 to 4x/d. Doses were adjusted to the severity of clinical symptoms and the age of the patient.
Duration: whole observation period lasted 8 weeks with follow up visit every 4 weeks.
Endpoints: Surface of skin affected; SCORAD score (index dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and management of Atopic Dermatitis); Itching sensation, sleep disorders, oedema, redness, erosions and lichenification.
SNIZTOP reduces the surface of affected skin in all age groups. (See Figure 2.)

The SCORAD index decreased systematically in all age groups with a mean of 61% vs baseline.
The greatest difference in the SCORAD index was noted in acute phase of the disease after 4 weeks of therapy. (See Figure 3.)

SNIZTOP reduces itching sensation in 80% of patients within the first 4 weeks of treatment.
Quality of sleep has been consequently improved in 79% of young children (<5 years old.) (See Figure 4.)

SNIZTOP demonstrated its effectiveness in reducing the area of the skin surface affected by the disease process, which translates into reduced SCORAD value in patients during the observation lasting 8 weeks.
It is worth mentioning that the most significant improvement can be observed in people from all age groups in severe phase of the disease.
What is more, administration of SNIZTOP resulted in a considerable reduction of itching sensation in 80% of tested population and improved quality of sleep in 63.7% patients after the first 4 weeks of the therapy.
SNIZTOP is a safe preparation, resulting in good therapeutic effects, which improves the quality of life of patients with atopic dermatitis.
