Management of inflammatory, pruritic & allergic skin disorders where secondary bacterial infection is present or likely.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply a small quantity lightly up to tds.
Primary skin infection by bacteria, fungi or viruses. Acne, rosacea, perioral dermatitis, anogenital pruritus & napkin rash. Use in external auditory canal when eardrum is perforated. Hypersensitivity to neomycin.
Presence of viral or fungal infection. Prolonged use. Childn <1 yr. Avoid use of occlusion in older childn. Limit use in older childn to 5 days. Avoid contact w/ eyes. Not normally used for widespread plaque psoriasis. Prolonged application on face. Pregnancy & lactation.
Irritation at site of infection, hypersensitivity. Atrophic skin changes & adrenal suppression especially in infant & childn (long-term).
