Indications/Uses
Topical treatment of dermatomycosis (tinea pedis, tinea cruris, tinea corporis, tinea versicolor) caused by susceptible fungi (dermatophytes & yeasts); dermatomycosis complicated by susceptible gm +ve bacteria infection.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply once daily or bd, in the morning &/or in the evening, gently massaging the affected & surrounding area. Tinea versicolor Usually 7 days treatment duration. Treatment of severe cases of tinea pedis, especially of the chronic hyperkeratotic type Can be prolonged up to 6 wk. Dermatomycosis of other location, candidiasis & erythrasma 2-4 wk treatment duration.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Discontinue use in case of signs of sensitisation eg, burning sensation, irritation or skin dryness. Contains cetostearyl alcohol which may cause local skin reactions. Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Local irritation.
