Indications/Uses
Decrease of elevated IOP in adult patients w/ ocular HTN or open-angle glaucoma. Decrease of elevated IOP in paed patients 2 mth to <18 yr w/ ocular HTN or paed glaucoma.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult including elderly & paed patients 2 mth to <18 yr 1 drop in the conjunctival sac of affected eye(s) once daily, preferably in evening.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
May gradually change eye colour, & increase length, thickness, pigmentation &/or number of lashes; periorbital &/or eyelid skin darkening; deepening of the eyelid sulcus. Caution in patients w/ active intraocular inflammation; aphakic patients, pseudophakic patients w/ a torn posterior lens capsule or anterior chamber lenses, or patients w/ known risk factors for cystoid macular oedema; patients w/ known predisposing risk factors for iritis/uveitis. Avoid skin contact. Remove contact lenses prior to application, reinsert after 15 min. Contains propylene glycol & polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil 40. May affect ability to drive & use machines due to temporary blurring of vision & other visual disturbances. Not to be used in women of child-bearing potential unless adequate contraceptive measures are in place. Should not be used during pregnancy unless clearly necessary. Not recommended in breast-feeding mothers. Childn <3 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Ocular hyperaemia. Iris hyperpigmentation, eye pain, ocular discomfort, dry eye, eye pruritus, eye irritation.
