UNIREN Spray contains: Diclofenac diethylammonium eq. to Diclofenac sodium 1% w/w.
Uniren Spray is an anti-inflammatory and analgesic preparation for topical application. The aqueous non-greasy preparation is easy to spray onto skin. Its good skin penetrating effect leads to fast & easy absorption into affected areas. Also, its aqueous-alcohol base gives it an immediate soothing and cooling effect. Diclofenac has been shown in experiments to inhibit prostaglandin biosynthesis and this is regarded as an important factor in its mechanism of action. In the inflammation of traumatic or rheumatic origin, Uniren Spray has been shown to relieve pain, reduce oedema and shorten the time of return to normal function.
Treatment of the following inflammatory & painful conditions of muscles & joints: localised forms of soft-tissue rheumatism, e.g. tendovaginitis, shoulder-hand syndrome, bursitis, and periarthropathy; localised rheumatic diseases, e.g. osteoarthritis of the spine and peripheral joints; post-traumatic inflammation of the tendons, ligaments, muscles, and joints, e.g. due to sprains, strains, or bruises.
Depending on the size of the painful area to be treated, 1-2 sprays Uniren Spray should be applied 3-4 times daily to the affected site. The duration of treatment depends on the indication and the patient's response. It is advisable to review the treatment after two weeks. Uniren Spray can also be used as an adjunct with Uniren Tablets for better effect.
Hypersensitivity to Diclofenac, Acetylsalicylic Acid and other Non-Steroidal Anti-inflammatory Agents or other ingredients of product.
Occasionally minor allergic or non-allergic contact dermatitis. If appears, stop treatment immediately and see a doctor or pharmacist.
Store below 30°C and protect from light.
