Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult: Topical Acne As 2.5-10% preparation: Apply 1-2 times/day. May increase to tid if needed. As cleanser: Wash 1-2 times/day. Decubitus/Stasis ulcers As 20% lotion: Apply 8-12 hrly.
Special Precautions
Childn. Pregnancy and lactation. Patient Counselling Avoid unnecessary sun exposure. May cause discolouration of hair and dyed fabrics. Monitoring Parameters Perform sensitivity test before using the product for the 1st time.
Adverse Reactions
Dry skin, erythema, skin exfoliation and burning sensation, pruritus, irritation, allergic contact dermatitis, swelling face.
Potentially Fatal: Rarely, hypersensitivity reactions.
Drug Interactions
Decreased efficacy and increase irritation if concomitantly administered w/ tretinoin, isotretinoin and tazarotene. Temporary skin and facial hair discolouration (yellow/orange) w/ sulphonamide-containing products.
