Patient with hypotension (high dose), Parkinson's disease and porphyria. Children. Pregnancy and lactation. Patient Counselling This drug may cause drowsiness, if affected, do not drive or operate machinery.
Adverse Reactions
Significant: Epigastric discomfort. Gastrointestinal disorders: Nausea, dyspepsia, vomiting, upper abdominal pain, gastrointestinal discomfort. General disorders and administration site conditions: Fatigue, lethargy. Hepatobiliary disorders: Cholestatic jaundice. Investigations: Increased weight. Musculoskeletal and connective tissue disorders: Muscle rigidity. Nervous system disorders: Dyskinesia, extrapyramidal disorder, Parkinsonism, tremor, drowsiness, somnolence. Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: Hyperhidrosis, lichenoid keratosis (e.g. lichen planus), subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus.
Drug Interactions
May potentiate sedative effects of CNS depressants and TCAs.
