Indications/Uses
As an antispasmodic.

Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult: PO 100 mg 3 times/day or 200 mg twice daily for not >6 wk.

Administration
Should be taken with food.
|
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity, chronic liver disease, history of hyperthermia during or after anaesthesia or after physical effort, renal insufficiency, mitochondrial myopathy, pregnancy, lactation.

Special Precautions
In patients with renal or hepatic insufficiency and in patients >60 yr or with multiple drug therapy, in case of unexplained muscular pain or if myopathy is diagnosed.

Adverse Reactions
Myalgias, reversible rhabdomyolysis, gastric upset.
