Vaginal Vaginal irritation Adult: As 0.3% douche: Insert 0.3% solution once daily for 5-7 days.

History of abnormal thyroid function or goitre (e.g. nodular colloid goitre, endemic goitre, Hashimoto's thyroiditis).

Povidone iodine is an iodophore that has a broad-spectrum germicidal activity against a wide range of bacteria, viruses, fungi, protozoa and spores. It is a complex of polyvinylpyrrolidone (povidone) with iodine. After application, it gradually and continuously delivers iodine to exert its germicidal activity. Absorption: Absorbed from skin, vaginal mucosa. Distribution: Crosses the placenta and enters breast milk. Excretion: Mainly via urine.
