Contraindications
Hypersensitivity.
Special Precautions
Patient with a history of seizure disorder. Elderly. Hepatic and renal impairment. Pregnancy and lactation. Monitoring Parameters Assess the elderly, or patients with hepatic or renal impairment for CNS or gastrointestinal adverse effects.
Adverse Reactions
Significant: Seizure. Gastrointestinal disorders: Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, xerostomia. General disorders and administration site conditions: Fatigue. Metabolism and nutrition disorders: Anorexia. Nervous system disorders: Headache, dizziness. Psychiatric disorders: Insomnia, nervousness.
Drug Interactions
Decreased plasma concentrations with paracetamol and aspirin. May diminish the therapeutic effect of influenza virus vaccines.
