Monitoring Parameters For bacterial vaginosis: Perform culture and susceptibility tests; consult local institutional recommendations before treatment initiation due to antibacterial resistance risks.
Adverse Reactions
Significant: Vulvovaginal candidiasis. Blood and lymphatic system disorders: Moderate leucopenia. Gastrointestinal disorders: Nausea, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, dysgeusia, vomiting, stomatitis, glossitis. Nervous system disorders: Headache. Reproductive system and breast disorders: Vulvovaginal pruritus. Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: Urticaria.
Drug Interactions
May increase the effects of oral anticoagulant drugs thus increase the risk of bleeding.
