Indications/Uses
HTN. Treatment of Prinzmetal's angina & chronic stable angina pectoris.
Dosage/Direction for Use
HTN, angina Initially 5 mg once daily, may be increased to max 10 mg/day. Small, debilitated or elderly patients or patients w/ liver failure Initially 2.5 mg once daily.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to dihydropyridine. Aortic stenosis, unstable angina (except Prinzmetal's angina).
Special Precautions
CHF. Liver function impairment. Pregnancy & lactation. Elderly.
Adverse Reactions
Headache, edema, tiredness, drowsiness, nausea, abdominal pain, flushing, palpitation, dizziness.
