Indications/Uses
Decrease of elevated IOP in adults w/ ocular HTN or open-angle glaucoma.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult including elderly Instill 1 drop into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye(s) once daily preferably at night. Max: Not to exceed 1 drop daily.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Possible permanent change in eye colour. Permanent heterochromia w/ unilateral treatment. Periorbital &/or eyelid skin darkening; increased length, thickness, pigmentation &/or number of lashes. Aphakic patients, pseudophakic patients w/ torn posterior or anterior chamber lenses. Patients w/ known risk factors for cystoid macular oedema; active intraocular inflammation; known predisposing risk factors for iritis/uveitis. Avoid skin contact. Remove contact lenses prior to application & wait at least 15 min after instillation before re-insertion. Propylene glycol & polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil 40 content may cause skin reactions. Temporary blurred vision or other visual disturbances may affect the ability to drive or use machines. Avoid direct exposure in women who are pregnant or attempting to become pregnant. Not to be used in women of child bearing age/potential & during pregnancy. Not recommended in breast-feeding mothers. Childn & adolescents <18 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Ocular hyperaemia. Eye pruritus, dry eye, ocular discomfort, eye irritation.
