Miconazole nitrate
Indications/Uses
Fungal skin infection: Tinea corporis, tinea pedis, tines cruris, tinea versicolor.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Cream Tinea corporis, tinea pedis, tinea cruris, tinea versicolor Apply to the infected skin twice daily (morning & afternoon). Tinea versicolor Apply to the affected area once daily. Duration Therapy: 2-4 wk. Powd Apply to the affected area or dried lesions 1-2 times daily for 2-4 wk. Skin folds Apply more frequently.
Special Precautions
Avoid contact w/ eyes. Discontinue if sensitization reaction or chemical irritation occur.
Adverse Reactions
Local irritation, maceration or burning sensation.

D01AC02 - miconazole ; Belongs to the class of imidazole and triazole derivatives. Used in the topical treatment of fungal infection.
