Palonosetron HCl
Indications/Uses
Prevention of acute nausea & vomiting associated w/ moderately & highly emetogenic cancer chemotherapy.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult 250 mcg as single IV bolus over 30 sec approx 30 min before start of chemotherapy.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity.
Special Precautions
History of constipation or signs of subacute intestinal obstruction. Concomitant use w/ medicinal products that increase QT interval or in patients who have or are likely to develop QT interval prolongation. May affect ability to drive & use machines. ESRD undergoing haemodialysis. Not be used during pregnancy & lactation. Not recommended in childn & adolescents <18 yr.

Headache, dizziness; constipation, diarrhea.
