Indications/Uses

Oral electrolytes rehydration soln for prevention & treatment of mild to moderate dehydration due to diarrhea & vomiting.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Childn <1 yr 300 mL for the 1st 3 hr then 100 mL for every fluid loss (unflavored soln); 1-5 yr 600 mL for the 1st 3 hr then 200 mL for every fluid loss; 6-12 yr 1,200 mL for the 1st 3 hr then 300 mL for every fluid loss; ≥12 yr 2,400 mL for the 1st 3 hr then 400 mL for every fluid loss.

Administration

May be taken with or without food.
