Leuprorelin acetate
Indications/Uses
Prostatic cancer w/ metastases & endometriosis at genital & extragenital localization (from stage I-IV). Breast cancer in pre- & peri-menopausal women.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Prostatic & Breast cancer 1 SC/IM inj renewed every 3 mth. Endometriosis Start treatment during the 1st 5 days of menstrual cycle. 1 SC/IM inj renewed every 3 mth. Duration: 6 mth.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to GnRH or its analogues. Undiagnosed abnormal vag bleeding. Pregnancy & lactation.
Special Precautions
Endometriosis or uterine myoma >6 mth. Urinary tract obstruction w/ metastatic vertebral lesions, medullar compression.
Adverse Reactions
Bone pain, hematuria, urinary obstruction, weakness of lower limbs/paresthesia, increased LDH, hot flushes, warmth feeling, shoulder stiffness, headache, insomnia, dizziness or diaphoresis, arthralgia.

L02AE02 - leuprorelin ; Belongs to the class of gonadotropin releasing hormone analogues. Used in endocrine therapy.
