Dosage/Direction for Use
Administration
Should be taken with food: Take during breakfast. Swallow whole, do not open cap.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Parkinson's disease, parkinsonian symptoms, tremors, restless leg syndrome, & other related movement disorders. Severe renal impairment (CrCl <30 mL/min). Inadvisable in nursing mothers.
Special Precautions
Not for angina attacks, nor as an initial treatment for unstable angina or MI, pre-hospital phase or during the first days of hospitalisation. Re-evaluate coronaropathy in the event of angina attack & consider adaptation of the treatment. Can cause or worsen parkinsonian symptoms. W/draw treatment in the occurrence of movement disorders. Patients taking antihypertensive treatment. Patients w/ rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption or sucrose-isomaltase insufficiency. May affect ability to drive & use machines. Avoid during pregnancy. Childn <18 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Dizziness, headache; abdominal pain, diarrhoea, dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting; rash, pruritus, urticaria; asthenia.
