Tramadol HCl 37.5 mg, paracetamol 325 mg
Indications/Uses
Short-term therapy of acute pain.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & adolescence ≥16 yr Initially 2 caplet. Max: 8 caplet/day. Interval of dosing should be <6 hr.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Acute intoxication w/ alcohol, hypnotics, centrally-acting analgesics, opioids, psychotropic agents. Severe liver dysfunction. Uncontrolled epilepsy. Patients receiving MAOIs therapy.
Special Precautions
Patients w/ a history of drug dependences, severe kidney, liver & resp dysfunction. Avoid concomitant use w/ other drugs which contains tramadol or paracetamol. Patients w/ opioid dependence or patients w/ head injury, risk of seizure, biliary tract disorders, shock conditions, impaired consciousness, resp depression, increased intracranial pressure.
Adverse Reactions
HTN, palpitation, tachycardia, arrhythmia, dizziness, reduced consciousness, headache, trembling, unconsciously contracted muscles, paresthesia, tinnitus, ataxia, seizure, confusion, mood changes, sleep disturbances, depression, hallucination, nightmare, amnesia, drug dependence, blurred vision, dyspnea, nausea, vomiting, constipation, dry mouth, diarrhea, abdominal pain, dyspepsia, flatulence, dysphagia, melena, increased transaminase, sweating, itching, skin reactions (rash, urticaria), albuminuria, urinary disorders, hot flashes, chest pain.
Drug Interactions
Non-selective MAOIs, selective MAO-A, selective MAO-B, alcohol, carbamazepine, buprenorphine, nalbuphine, pentazocine, SSRIs, triptants, antitussive drugs, benzodiazepine, barbiturates, opioid derivatives, anxiolytic, hypnotic, antidepressants, antihistamines, neuroleptics, centrally-acting antihypertensive drugs, thalidomide, baclofen, warfarin, ketoconazole, erythromycin, bupropion, neuroleptics, domperidone, cholestyramine.
