Description
Each 100-g sachet contains high molecular weight hyaluronic acid (sodium salt) 240 mg. Aftamed/Aftamed Junior does not contain alcohol.
Action
Mouth ulcers (aphthae) are an inflammatory condition involving the appearance of painful ulcerous lesions in the oral cavity. Aftamed/Aftamed Junior's formulation not only reduces the pain immediately but also, as demonstrated by controlled clinical trials, promotes healing of the ulcers and reduces their number by controlling the inflammatory processes and rehydrating the tissues.
Indications/Uses
Mouth ulcers, aphthous stomatitis; recurrent ulcerous lesions of the oral cavity (recurrent ulcers). In the case of recurrent ulcers, continuous use can perform a preventive action on the entire oral cavity.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply 2 or 3 times daily, or more if required, after meals, for 1 week or until the symptoms disappear.
If the pain persists, Aftamed/Aftamed Junior can be safely applied several times daily.
It is advisable not to eat or drink for at least 30 min after application.
Storage
Protect against frost and heat sources.
