Na hyaluronate
Viscoelastic replacement & supplement for synovial fluid depletion in knee, shoulder joints & other synovial joints. Provides joint lubrication, cartilage protection, pain relief & improves joint range of motion in OA, RA patients w/ OA knee pain, deforming gonarthrocace & periarthritis of shoulder.
Dosage/Direction for Use
1 IA inj once wkly into affected joint for 3 consecutive wk.
Hypersensitivity to avian proteins. Inj site skin diseases or infections. Hepatic failure or history of liver enzyme abnormalities.
Special Precautions
Treat inflammatory symptoms prior to treatment. Not for IV inj or ophth use. Inflammatory arthritis. Avoid strenuous activities 48 hr after IA inj. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn. Elderly.
Adverse Reactions
Shock (rare); edema, facial flare, rash (rare), urticaria, itching; transient pain after administration, swelling, dropsy (rare), flare, warmth, severe pressure on topical site, ecchymosis; nausea, vomiting, fever, headache.
