Indications/Uses
Symptomatic treatment of functional signs of OA.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult Initially 1 cap once daily for 1st 2-4 wk, after which 1 cap bd.
Administration
Should be taken with food: Take w/ or immediately after meals.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to diacerein or substances w/ similar structure. Current &/or history of liver disease. Pregnancy & lactation.
Special Precautions
Avoid concomitant use w/ laxatives. Moderate renal insufficiency. Avoid concomitant use w/ laxatives.
Adverse Reactions
Accelerated intestinal transit, diarrhoea, epigastric pain & disturbances, dark discolouration of urine.
Drug Interactions
Mg-, Al-, Ca-containing antacids.
