Indications/Uses
Eczema including atopic, infantile, discoid & stasis eczema; prurigo; psoriasis; neurodermatoses including lichen simplex; lichen planus; seborrhoiec dermatitis; intertrigo; contact sensitivity reactions; discoid lupus erythematosus; generalised erythroderma; insect bites; otitis externa.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply small quantity to affected skin bd or tds until improvement.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Rosacea, acne & peri-oral dermatitis. Skin lesions caused by infection w/ viruses (eg, herpes simplex, chickenpox), fungi (eg, candidiasis, tinea) or bacteria (eg, impetigo).
Special Precautions
Discontinue use if infection occurs. Prolonged treatment. Application into eyelids. Avoid extensive use in pregnancy. Avoid long-term continuous topical therapy in infants & childn.
Adverse Reactions
Local atropic skin changes eg, striae, thinning & superficial blood vessel dilatation. Hypercorticism.
