Fusidic acid 2%, betamethasone 17-valerate 0.1%
Indications/Uses
Inflammatory dermatoses where bacterial infection is present or likely to occur eg, atopic eczema, discoid eczema, stasis eczema, seborrhoeic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, lichen simplex chronicus, psoriasis, discoid lupus erythematosus.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply bd-tds.
Contraindications
Viral skin diseases, bacterial infection, perioral dermatitis, acne rosacea, fungal skin infection, ulcerative conditions, application to eye.
Special Precautions
Broken skin, prolonged use, under occlusive dressings. Pregnancy & lactation. Not for use for >3 wk in infant & childn ≤4 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Loss of skin collagen & subcutaneous atrophy eg, striae, thinning & dilation of superficial blood vessels.
