Description
Cationorm is an emulsion formed by an aqueous phase and an oily phase. The main components of oily phase are mineral oils.
Cationorm, with its advanced formulation not only restores moisture but also helps to prevent fluid loss.
Ordinary lubricant eye drops simply provide more moisture which can evaporate quickly from the ocular surface.
Indications/Uses
Hydrating and lubricating emulsion which protects the ocular surface, and relieves the discomfort and irritation due to dry eye caused by prolonged use of contact lenses or environmental conditions.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Instill 1 or 2 drops as needed according to the specialist's advice.
Directions: Wash and dry hands thoroughly. Before using, ensure the single-dose container is intact. Take 1 single-dose container and shake before use. Twist off the top to open. Avoid any contact with the eye nozzle.
Cationorm does not affect contact lenses quality.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of Cationorm.
Special Precautions
For ocular use only. Do not swallow the solution. Do not instill Cationorm into the eye at the same time with other substances as the effects of these may be altered. Do not use the solution after the expiry date. Cationorm does not contain preservatives. Thus, after the container has been opened and used, the residual emulsion, if any, should be disposed of.
Adverse Reactions
Possibility of mild temporary ocular discomfort related to Cationorm instillation.
Storage
Do not store above 30°C. Do not freeze.
