Contents
Per mL Ciprofloxacin HCl 3 mg, fluocinolone acetonide 0.25 mg
Indications/Uses
Acute otitis externa caused by ciprofloxacin-susceptible microorganism eg, Staphylococcus aureus or Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult, elderly & childn >7 yr Instill 6-8 drops into external ear canal 12 hrly for 7 days.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to ciprofloxacin, fluocinolone or quinolones. External ear canal viral infections (ie, varicella & herpes simplex infections) & fungal otic infections.
Special Precautions
Not for oral, ophth use, inhalation or inj. Discontinue immediately if skin rash or other signs of hypersensitivity occur. Serious & fatal hypersensitivity reactions. Growth of resistant organisms w/ prolonged use. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn <7 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Application site pruritus & hyperesthesia, allergic reactions.
