Description
Through Nano and Bio technologies, Dr Wound, an Advanced Wound Care System helps accelerate wound healing of acute and chronic wounds, infected or cavity wounds. These biological moist wound dressings are designed as primary dressings effectively covering a wide range of wound sites, with the ability to give better healing rates as compared to traditional dressings. Taking into consideration the types and degree of wounds, Dr Wound Advanced Wound Care System is designed with simplified methods of applications, convenient to use by all levels of society.
Chitoheal Gel: Chemoattractant properties.

Action
Dr Wound ChitoHeal Gel provides moist environment and attracts necessary cells including proteins for faster wound healing.
It forms secondary skin to protect the wound whilst reducing scars and keloids formation.
Antibacterial.
Reduces scarring and prevents keloid formation.
Promotes moist environment.
Forms secondary skin to protect wound.
Fast wound healing and closure.
Forms barrier against infection; encourages natural blood clotting; provides matrix for cell growth; block nerve endings to reduce pain; absorbs fluid from inflammation; provides protein for healing; strengthens new tissue; minimizes scarring.
Indications/Uses
For faster healing of acute and chronic wound including post-surgery wound, burns, abrasion, episiotomy, minor cut, circumcision, cesarean wound, acne wound, carbuncle, venous ulcer, laceration, traumatic wound, cuts, diabetic foot ulcer, bed sores.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Clean the wound using sterile water or Silvosept Spray. Leave it to dry. (Do not dap it dry).
Apply a layer of Dr Wound ChitoHeal Gel.
Use a secondary dressing if needed.
For Clean Wound: Step 1: Spray with Silvosept Spray. Leave to dry. *DO NOT DAP.
Step 2: Apply ChitoHeal Gel evenly.
Step 3: Cover with secondary dressings.
For Slough and Necrotic Wound: Step 1: Spray with Silvosept Spray. Leave to dry. *DO NOT DAP.
Step 2: Apply Debrid Gel evenly on slough and necrotic tissues.
Step 3: Cover with secondary dressings.
Step 4: After 24 to 36 hours, wipe the slough or necrotic tissues that has softened with gauze**.
For Cavity Wound: Step 1: Spray with Silvosept Spray. Leave to dry. *DO NOT DAP.
Step 2: Sprinkle Chito Powder on wound cavity areas.
Step 3: Apply ChitoHeal Gel evenly.
Step 4: Cover with secondary dressings.
For Bleeding Wound: Step 1: Spray with Silvosept Spray. Leave to dry. *DO NOT DAP.
Step 2: Apply ChitoHem powder and direct pressure until the bleeding stops.
**Repeat step 1,2,3 and 4 if slough or necrotic tissues are still present.
Repeat these steps until wound is clean and proceed to the 'Clean Wound' dressing steps.
REMINDER: For optimum results, do not mix with other range of wound care products.
Note: Use ChitoHeal only on clean wounds. Wound with dead necrotic or slough tissue must be fully debrided first before using ChitoHeal for wound healing. Silvosept can be used on all wounds. Seek medical advice for serious burns and wounds.
