Clotrimazole (micronized)

Indications/Uses

Topical fungal infection caused by dermatophytes, yeast, moulds & other fungi including Tinea infections, paronychia, pityriasis versicolour, erythrasma, intertrigo, fungal nappy rash, candida vulvitis & balanitis.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Apply thinly & evenly to affected area bd-tds for at least 1 mth or 2 wk after disappearance of all signs of infection to prevent relapse.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity.

Special Precautions

Avoid contact w/ eyes, ears or mucous membranes. Childn <2 yr.

Adverse Reactions

Local irritation & mild burning sensation.
