-associated diarrhea; osteoporosis-related hip, wrist or spine fractures. Subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus. Hypomagnesemia may lead to hypocalcemia &/or hypokalemia. Vit B12
malabsorption due to long-term therapy (>3 yr). Concomitant use w/ high-dose methotrexate; digoxin; drugs causing hypomagnesemia eg, diuretics. Long-term use. Discontinue use at least 5 days prior to chromogranin A measurements. Severe hepatic impairment. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn <12 yr.
