Betamethasone dipropionate
Indications/Uses
Relief of resistant or severe psoriasis & other corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply once daily to affected areas, may be applied bd if necessary. Max: 4 wk.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to betamethasone & other corticosteroids.
Special Precautions
Discontinue use if irritation or sensitization develops or in presence of infection. Not for ophth use. Blurred vision or other visual disturbances. Not for use under occlusive dressing. Not to be used during pregnancy. Lactation. Long-term use in infants & childn. Growth & development in childn.
Adverse Reactions
Mild to moderate transient folliculitis. Urticaria, increased redness of lesions, erythema, itching, vesiculation, pruritus.
