Distaclor for oral suspension needs to be reconstituted with water up to 60 ml and is available in 2 strengths: Distaclor for oral suspension 125mg/5ml and Distaclor for oral suspension 187mg/5ml.
After reconstitution with water, each 5ml of cefaclor for oral suspension will contain cefaclor monohydrate equivalent to 125mg (0.34mmol) or 187.5 mg (0.51 mmol).
Cefaclor, is a semisynthetic cephalosporin antibiotic for oral administration. It is chemically designated as 3-chloro-7-D-(2-phenylglycinamido)-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid monohydrate.
