Description
Each Film Coated Tablet contains: Micronized Flavonoidic Fraction 500 mg Equivalent to Diosmin 450 mg, Hesperidin 50 mg.
Action
M Well established safety profile, acceptability, effective in treatment for haemorrhoids.
Widely used for the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency (CVI).
Improves venous tone and lymphatic drainage.
Reduces capillary hyperpermeability by protecting the microcirculation from inflammatory processes.
Reduces the resistance in the small blood vessels and normalizes the blood flow to that affected anorectal area.
Offers vasoprotector effect and venotonic agent.
In order to ensure a better gastrointestinal absorption. The absorption of Diosmin is improved by its micronization to particles with a diameter <2 micron.
Indications/Uses
A phlebotonic (venotonic) - to treat venous circulation abnormalities/Chronic Venous Insufficiencies of lower limbs with symptoms like Heavy Legs Pain Nocturnal Cramps.
For Treatment of Chronic Hemorrhoids and acute hemorrhoidal attacks.
Diosmin is used for treating various disorder of blood vessels including hemorrhoids, varicose veins, poor circulation in the legs (venous stasis), and bleeding (hemorrhage) in the eye or gums.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Usual dose in chronic conditions: 2 tablets daily in two divided doses, morning and evening at mealtimes.
In acute hemorrhoidal attacks: 6 tablets daily (in 3 divided doses) for 3 to 4 days, then 4 tablets daily (in 2 divided doses).
