Indications/Uses
Depressive fatigue and lethargy.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult : PO 10-20 mg w/ breakfast and 10 mg w/ lunch if needed.
Dosage Details
Oral
Depressive fatigue and lethargy
Adult: 10-20 mg with breakfast and 10 mg with lunch if necessary.
Contraindications
Heart diseases, angina, decompensated cardiac insufficiency, glaucoma, hyper-excitability, thyrotoxicosis. Concomitant therapy with MAOI.
Special Precautions
Do not admin in late afternoon and evening so as to prevent sleep disturbances.
Adverse Reactions
Dry mouth.
Overdosage
Symptoms: Nausea, agitation, restlessness, dry mouth, dizziness, tremors, dyspnoea, tachycardia, disorientation, seizures. Management: Empty stomach by gastric lavage or aspiration if taken within 3-4 hr. Treatment is symptomatic and supportive.
Drug Interactions
Potentially Fatal: Avoid concomitant use with MAOI.
Action
Description: Fencamfamin has been given orally as a central stimulant.
Storage
Tab: Store below 25°C. Syrup: Store below 30°C.
