Indications/Uses
Symptomatic treatment of constipation in adults & childn ≥8 yr.
Dosage/Direction for Use
1-2 sachets daily. Childn Max duration: 3 mth.
Administration
May be taken with or without food: Dissolve contents of each sachet in a glass of water.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Severe inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease), toxic megacolon, perforation or risk of perforation, ileus or suspicion of intestinal obstruction or symptomatic stenosis, painful abdominal syndromes of undetermined reason.
Special Precautions
Hypersensitivity. Fructose intolerance.
Adverse Reactions
Abdominal distension &/or pain, nausea, diarrhoea.
Drug Interactions
May interfere w/ absorption of other drugs if administered simultaneously (take at least 2 hr apart).
