Adverse Reactions

Hypercalcaemia.

Drug Interactions

Aggravated elevated serum Ca levels w/ other Ca-containing drugs. Disturbed Ca absorption by tetracyclines, quinolones & drugs containing Fe, fluoride or estramustine. Increased risk of arrhythmia w/ cardioactive glycosides. Monitor serum phosphate levels w/ concomitant Al hydroxide.
