Ear mode: Pull the ear back & fit probe snugly into the ear canal, then press & hold the ear button. Release once beep is heard then read temp. Forehead mode: Position probe w/in 1 cm away from central forehead, then press & hold the forehead button. Read temp when long beep sound is heard & forehead icon stops flashing.
