6-in-1 Multi-Function MedEx Infrared Thermometer: Functions and Guide for Use: 6-in-1 Multi-Function MedEx Infrared Thermometer must be placed in stable ambient (room) temperature for 15 minutes before operating.
For power on, press "ON/MEM" button.
To extend battery life, the thermometer will automatically shut off when it is left idle for more than 1 minute. The LCD screen will only show the date, time and room temperature.
To switch off the thermometer completely, press and hold "ON/MEM" button for 10 seconds.
Clean the probe after each use to ensure an accurate reading and for hygiene purpose (please refer to Care and Cleaning under Cautions for Usage for details).
When the thermometer is not in use, remember to put on the probe cap.
Real Time Clock: Real time clock will be recorded with a memory function and helps to recognize each measurement result. This function includes the 12/24 format in Hour/Minutes/Date.
To setup the real time clock on first use, Press the "ON/MEM" button to power on. The thermometer is ready for use after two beep sound.
Press and hold the "ON/MEM" button for 5 seconds. When a "Set" icon starts flashing, it indicates that the device is in setting mode.
Press the "FOREHEAD" button and the "24" icon will flash. This indicates that the device is in 12/24-hour setting. Press the "FOREHEAD" button to change from "24" (24-hour) to 12-hour format and press "ON/MEM" button to confirm.
Press "ON/MEM" button to move the flashing in sequence to select the settings: hour → minutes → year → month → day
At the end of the setting, a display will be shown.
