Indications and Dosage
Acute bronchitis, Chronic bronchitis, Cough, Sinusitis
Adult: Acute cases: 300 mg 3-4 times daily. Chronic cases: 300 mg bid.
Special Precautions
Renal or biliary calculi.
Adverse Reactions
Stomach pain, nausea, diarrhoea, taste disturbance, hypersensitivity reactions e.g. rash, facial swelling, respiratory and circulatory disturbances.
Description: Myrtol is a plant distillate from 3 plants i.e. Pinus spp (Pine), Citrus aurantifolia (lime) and Eucalyptus globulus. It can also be extracted from Myrtus communis and consists mainly of (+)α-pinene, d-limonene and 1,8-cineole.
