Description
NasoCare/NasoCare Infant is a gentle, sterile & purified seawater solution spray. Nasocare also contains Xylitol which may help inhibit the bacteria associated with sinus and ear infections. It is classified as a medical device, free from medication & preservatives.
Nasocare/Nasocare Infant contains inert propellant (nitrogen). The contents of this product are filled under pressure.
Action
Xylitol is a natural plant sugar which makes nasal membranes 'slippery'. This helps to guard against bacteria attaching to the tissues inside the nasal and sinus cavities. Through this action Xylitol may help to inhibit the bacteria frequently associated with sinus and ear infections.
Xylitol is non-toxic and suitable for use by diabetics.
Indications/Uses
NasoCare/NasoCare Infant helps relieve allergy and sinus symptoms. It helps to cleanse the nasal & sinus cavities of excess mucus, allergens and other pollutants. It also helps to restore the natural moisture of the nasal passage.
NasoCare: Daily nasal Hygiene: NasoCare has a salt concentration that is similar to that of the human cells (isotonic) and is ideal for washing and daily cleansing of the nasal and sinus cavities. Frequent sufferers of rhinitis and sinusitis may find regular use helps reduce the frequency of respiratory tract infections.
Post-operative nasal care: Nasal surgery can result in inflammation of the nasal and sinus cavities. After nasal surgery, there is also a tendency for crusts of dried blood and mucus to irritate the sinus passages and block mucus drainage. Regular use of NasoCare post-operatively will help clear the nasal and sinus cavities of dried blood and mucus. Your ENT specialist will advise in the use of this product in the post-operative period.
