Indications/Uses
Fungal blepharitis, conjunctivitis & keratitis caused by susceptible organisms.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Fungal keratitis 1 drop 1-2 hrly, decreased to 1 drop 6-8 times daily after 1st 3-4 days, continue for 14-21 days or until resolution. Reduce dose gradually at 4-7 day intervals. Fungal blepharitis & conjunctivitis 1 drop 4-6 times daily may be sufficient.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity.
Special Precautions
Discontinue use if drug toxicity occurs. Eye irritation due to benzalkonium Cl. Avoid contact w/ soft contact lenses. May affect ability to drive & use machines.
Adverse Reactions
Conjunctival chemosis & hyperemia.
Drug Interactions
Adversely affect antifungal efficacy w/ corticosteroids.
