Per mL Lignocaine HCl 2% w/v, polymyxin B sulfate 10,000 u

Indications/Uses

Persistent otorrhoea, Pseudomonas or coliform infections. Otitis externa, post-op treatment.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Instill 4-5 drops into affected ear tds-qds.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity. Prolonged use in tympanic membrane damage.

Special Precautions

Discontinue use if irritation or sensitivity occur. Concomitant use w/ corticosteroids. Prolonged use.

Adverse Reactions

Cochlear sensory cell degeneration (prolonged use).

Drug Interactions

Reduced resistance to infections w/ corticosteroids.
