Description
QV Skin Lotion contains soft white paraffin 5%, glycerol 5%, methyl hydroxybenzoate 0.2%, propyl hydroxybenzoate 0.1% and dichlorobenzyl alcohol 0.1%. It has a pH of 6. It contains no perfume, lanolin or lanolin derivatives.
Action
Endogenous hydration and emollient. White soft paraffin is a protectant and emollient. A film of paraffin will cause endogenous hydration which softens the outer layers of the stratum corneum. Glycerol has protectant properties and a high moisture-binding ability.
Indications/Uses
Adults: Relieves dry skin and pruritus due to dry skin. An adjunct in the relief of atopic dermatitis, infantile eczema, ichthyosis, pruritus hiemalis, neurodermatitis, senile pruritus, after sun exposure, soap and irritant dermatitis.
Infants: Relieves dry skin and is an adjunct in the treatment of dry skin conditions especially after dermatitis, eczema and miliaria rubra.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply as often as required to the affected area especially after washing, bathing or showering, and after sun exposure.
Adjunct Therapy: For very dry skin, QV Bath Oil is also recommended. QV Bar may be used instead of soap.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of QV Skin Lotion.
Special Precautions
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes.

Store below 30°C.
